About Carved Lettering
James Sheppard is highly skilled in V-cut and relief methods of carving and has 15 years’ experience in lettering. He carves both lettering and relief designs. He trained as an apprentice with Fergus Wessel, Stone Letters Ltd.
James has worked on projects for a wide variety of clientele including long standing institutions, universities and the gentry, where his work has been greatly received and much appreciated. He has worked on hundreds of projects from headstones and plaques to carvings in situ.
